The High Court has handed down judgment in respect of two summary judgment applications made in the ongoing group proceedings concerning VW vehicles.
The first application was made by the Claimants against VW for summary judgment in respect of the allegation that the vehicles were not of satisfactory quality. That application was refused by the High Court.
The second application was made by the Defendant to strike out or summarily dismiss the deceit claim brought by the Claimants. That application was also refused by the High Court.
