RFU v Matthews

James acted for the Rugby Football Union in an appeal against the first instance acquittal of James Matthews, lock for Division 3 South side Lydney RFC, on a charge of stamping.  The RFU rarely appeals against such decisions, but in this instance did so, and James secured a 22 week ban.
